This is a strange question. I know that for the beetle they make a new ignition system by the name of "Jacobs Bug Pack" or something to that effect. It increases the performance of the car by a great margin. Is there something simular to this for the 3rd Gen? Maybe this "ECU" that I have seen around the boards? Thanks. Pickwick

If you have the VG.....

you can look into the Jacobs ICE Pak ignition($325) or the more powerful Pro Street ignition systems($500+/-)...I've nothing but good experiences from the guys who have them. who knows with the re-mapped ignition curve the JWT ECU produces and the increased spark energy from the Jacobs unit, it could be a potent combination!
