Was that the first time that you had tried any type of fuel cleaner?

92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed.

I guess I'll have to give it a try and see for myself. I've used a few brands in the past, and some of them worked OK. Maybe the stuff you used is better.

just a thought...I read somewhere that usuing octane boosters isn't a good idea...it has something..methanol is it? most engines are not made to handle all that methanol?

Fuel system cleaners are different tham octane boosters. I used an octane booster once and it seemed to make my car run worse. I'm just sticking with the fuel treatments.

Fuel System Cleaners

I've read a special NisSTB issue forbidding use of ANY fuel system cleaning additives on some Nissan models (including Maximas up to 93). The additives may damage injectors "O"-rings and cause dangerous fuel leaks.
Moreover, I'm sure that the cause of often injector claims in the U.S. is the use of gas with strong cleaning additives like Chevron Techron.
Good luck,
DDD
