Shogun Fuels System Cleaner
over the last week i have ran Penzoils Shogun Fuel System clear thru my 91 max and i have noiced a significant difference in the way she performs smoother idle better acceleration just to name a few it was well worth the 6 bucks i dropped on it i would recommend it to all of you
Was that the first time that you had tried any type of fuel cleaner?

no it isnt i have tried the nos fuel sys. cleaner and outlaw octane booster and fuel sys. cleaner in my 87 max the shogun seemed to work the best the other just seem to make the engine louder and a little rougher around the edges
I guess I'll have to give it a try and see for myself. I've used a few brands in the past, and some of them worked OK. Maybe the stuff you used is better.

Fuel system cleaners are different tham octane boosters. I used an octane booster once and it seemed to make my car run worse. I'm just sticking with the fuel treatments.

Fuel System Cleaners
I've read a special NisSTB issue forbidding use of ANY fuel system cleaning additives on some Nissan models (including Maximas up to 93). The additives may damage injectors "O"-rings and cause dangerous fuel leaks.
Moreover, I'm sure that the cause of often injector claims in the U.S. is the use of gas with strong cleaning additives like Chevron Techron.
Good luck,
DDD
