ha well the first one is a VE that I bought for the tranny swap into my VG (last max is mine) The tranny shifts so quick and smooth we think its rebuilt or low miles one. It has writing on it. Alex is takin his sweet time with my bros probe and other **** that held us back but hopefully we will swap it all tomorrow....

Todd I doubt you'll have a problem like when I drive my max. After putting 10K miles on my 240sx, its shifter is so nice compared to the max's stock one, your VE's shifter seems like its a modded stock one I doubt you'll have a problem.

Black91gxe- Have you ever driven a stock 5speed max? The shifter is garbage...I gotta toss it in the oven an shorten it up...

Well we'll see an interesting thing though. Experienced stickdriver on a VG non-LSD tranny, and an inexperience stickdriver on the VE-pulled VLSD tranny. Which will win? Man or machine?

I know it's got to do with moving the ball, but how does it affect the position of the shifter in any given gear? Less of a move in all directions or what?

I agree, that does look good. A nice, subtle mod that was probably a PITA.

Yep that's what it is, everytime I see one of those Q45's I think about how that spoiler might look on the max, and it actually looks better than it does on the Q imo. Nice work!

Here's one. And look what's in the background

i got tired of the same occuring issue with the stock spoiler so i order a spoiler through stillen like michael had on his old max but in the end i did'nt really want a spoiler anymore so i sold it. But then there was the faze were i went a whole year without one and liked it much better that way. And then recently i came across a q45 on craigslist that some cat was selling for parts with no registration and seen the type t spoiler and gotten a vision of how would that look on my 3rd gen.

Soon i will make it lower to the center bezel to give it a cleaner look
