A/C COntrol

My a/c is woekring well! ran out of freon 12 yrs later and I converted to the new ****. But my switch - it only works on High wihich is the number 4 setting. anyone sure why and how to fox? Do I need to replace THE a/c CONSOL? If so I will, I hat ruinning AC on high all the time - makes me feel like i am just burning gas//po

sounds like your cable may be jammed. If you look under the dash, behind the radio, you'll see a blue cable. I think that's the one, but I might be mistaken.

OK. SO THIS COULD BE JUST BECAUSE SOME ORD IS JAMMED? i DONT UNDERSTAND <sorry for capps - yo umust know I work in database at work and must have capps on to get around in it> But if this blue cord were jammed..would it cause tyhe ac to work at only one setting? thanks in advance
