rims

yea, I'd go with the second ones. And also...I went out to try and see what kindof brakes I had today, and in the front you can see them and they looke kinda like Matts so are they disc? The rears you can't see. I know I don't have ABS and it was baught in rockville so I doubt its canadian or anything.

The fronts are discs, but the backs might be. If it is Canadian you definately have rear disks, but if not you probably have drums, unless its an SE or has the performance suspension.

If you have a US-spec GXE that doesn't have ABS, then you have drums in the back.
Almost ALL cars made in the last 20 years have discs in the front. usually only sports cars had discs in the rear.

thanks

aight, I got it now...I didn't understand the post u wrote me a couple days ago about having it with ABS or watever... If I wanna improve braking 9and stop squealing) what should I look at doing? For not a rack of money.

First thing I would do is to get good pads up front and either convert your rears to discs, or have new Nissan shoesh put on the drums. I went through 3-4 different brands of shoes on the rear, and the nissan ones were the best by far. I had them on probably 3 months- through dozens of 100-0 stops, and they never squealed.

before, the other brands would glaze over and begin to squeal after just a couple hard stops from 80+.

As for pads, I would recommend going with Porterfield $89/set, EBC about same as porterfield, or Axxis ~$50/set. Stillen pads are the same as Axxis, but cost a few $ more..

try that and see what you come up with.
