Na, I tried that first, the direct link only works for like 10 minutes per code you enter..

Glad it finally worked!

look at the passenger seat, see the strap around the leg of the stand?

There is also an old vtc assembly hooked to the bottom of the stand, helping hold it down.,heh the irony.

Wayne, that is one sweet ride man. I can't wait to get mine running again. Since my max has been broken I have been relegated to driving a 98 Taurus. BLAH! Every once in a while my son will feel sorry for me and let me drive his '00 max. I really like driving his. Pretty nice car! Of course, my fav is still the 3rd gen though.

BTW, there might be some interior parts that might interest you off my donor car. There's not much though. It has tan leather, but they are pretty crappy. The door panels are in good shape though. Headliner is in good shape too, just dirty.

If the offer is still open for you to come help me and I have to ask you to, whatever you want, other than the sunroof and the instrument cluster , it is yours. this is besides the free supper and adult beverages.

i love how he keeps it at 3k revs the whole time... my brother FREAKS if his car tops 4k. cuz he's a {insert insult here}. I40 and US70 also run through my hometown. raleigh has no good roads like that with any decent length to them. if we do they are resedential neighborhood streets. i know a few good places but nothing good longer than a quarter mile of driving.

+1..the coils were a big crap stain on the 00 maximas reputation, they are most likely your issue if they are the original coils.

yea,my main point in making this video was to show the members in here that if you have the right roads/conditions,you can make a decent video without any speeding or wreckless driving involved. We don't need nor want any vids of members barreling down residential streets or weaving through interstate traffic in here.

Nah, everything is tan except the dash. Was black/charcaol/dark grey the only color they used for the dash?

OooOoo!! beer.. I may take a ride down next week sometime, but it has to be during the week,as i work weekends.

Well, Hell's bells! On Tues and Thurs I am gone all day until like 9:00PM CST due to work and school. But Mon Wed Fri I usually am home by 6ish. We will work something out. I might have to take a day off if we work something out.

At the time of install,no one in town had any long rca's in stock, and i didn't feel like driving around all day long looking for them,so i just used my old 3 footers, ran wire to the back.
