the B&G drop looks nice without the stillen kit for some reason but i wouldn't like how the rear would sit. eventhough it looks nice tilted.

the Intrax drop looks good too. but how rough do you mean. was it stiff or loose? also what shocks were you using?

BAM....koni / eibach...would have went lower if the roads around me didn't suck...eibachs are nice, konis are awesome! If you have the $$ or even if you don't, get the Konis...All or nothing, Ricky!

These pics were taken right after I installed the setup...it currently sits a bit lower than in the pictures...I love how it sits, personally...

Believe it or not, the tires are as close in diameter to stock as you can get...but they are quite a bit wider than the factory rubber...

I have Tokico/Eibach. I like how it handles fine and it's not uncomfortable on long trips. I should have gone with Konis, but I got a good deal on the Tokicos.

I'm on Tokico's only because I was able to get the warranty exchange.(previous owner had the receipt)
If you decide Intrax do not waste your money on Tokicos go with Koni's.

I can't put shiny crap on my tires because there is too much dust around. They will look even worse. Actually, I should just put it on for pictures, then let them get dirty. Oh, well.

I have to wash the stupid car all the time as it is. When I drive it to work, the parking lot is next to a Union Pacific main line, so freight trains go roaring by at 50 mph and cover everything with dust.

hmm, this is something I also need to do to my car once the body is semi decent for it. I shall book mark this thread.

I know someone mentioned 3-400 buts for springs/struts but if anyone feels like listing the setup/average price I would greatly appreciate it.

LIke my wheel gap on my sig?

Hmm, maybe if I get bored one day I will buy some Konis and new Intrax springs and try it. Just not really into the car like I used to be. I just wash it and maintain it.

to add onto that question, anyone tried the tokico suspension kit (HP shocks, and their springs) and any comments about this kit relative to just eiback/tokico combo?

i got the rims from a local shop called world of wheels or something like that back in Sept. 2000 if i remember correctly. i've had them for a long time and i really need new rims

i don't have intrax yet. so i really wouldn't know if the bottom of car will scratch.

the stiff and sloppy part you are talking about comes from the struts...although springs have rates on them most will feel the same with worn out or poor struts. Get Koni and set them to full stiff and you will be good to go if you want a really stiff ride.

I dont know what the rate of the Intrax are but they are anything from sloppy.

hey,
thanks
so koni are the best struts for stiffness then?

and i've been researching on these D2 racing coilovers, trying to see if they can fit our cars or not.
well if they cant, i think im going to just buy some coilovers that will fit like a 5th gen and custom fit them so they fit, i want to have an adjustable suspension, we have such potential since were front and rear independent.
well thanks, if i can't find out if they fit or not, then ill go intrax, the drop looks just perfect.

i have Intrax springs and kyb struts and 18s. if i didnt already have these springs id go with eibach. my car rides VERY rough. its stiff and corners well but gets annoying. to see pics of my car just go to the cardomain link

im going for just normal driving and a smooth ride. so eibach/tokico a good bet? def dont have the cash for koni, even though everyone raves about them.

i was thinking about just replacing the shocks, even though i think my springs are worn out. im afraid that the springs i have lowered the car too much (about 1.8-2 in, my bro installed the springs) and will screw up my new shocks. can this happen?

I can almost guarantee those kyb's are blown.

kyb-stock springs,Eibach
Tokico-Eibach,Intrax*,Sprint*(* Tokico's won't last long)
Koni- Any of the above springs
