Bad miss with cold engine - help

This morning the engine had no power after sitting for 2 days. The weather was damp but not raining, temp around 10C.
The idle is smooth but there is a severe miss that robs the engine of power when accelerating. This afternoon the engine ran smooth and strong with no miss. Is this wires, injectors or what???

when was the last time your dist cap and rotor were replaced?????? If there is a crack in the cap moisture can seep in during changes in temperature or when it becomes realy humid out. I had a similar problem with my car. I did a complete tune up and since then no problems at all...

The wires and cap are at least 2 years old. I think you're on to something. Particularly since this is real intermittent and dimishes as the engine warms up. I'll let you know how things develop with some new wires and cap.
