when u open up the trunk in the back there is this little square piece that sticks out. i looked at it and it can easily be removed. the question is will anything happen if i remove that peiece? i want to make way for my new system and that is kinda in the way.

 

Dont know...But if it aint broke dont fix it!

 

it's simply a weight bolted tot he frame to cut down on road noise. if you're installing a sub box, you can remove it without any problems at all. just be sure to cover and seal the holes with something...
