when spark pluge wire are dead

when one of the spark wire are dead does the car shake when put into drive and doesn't in neutre. If it is what brand should i get. I want performance kind.

OEM Nissan wires are very good quality and will serve you well. They lasted until now correct? But I believe msd and others make quality plug wires also.

There are many things(including a bad wire) that will make your car shake in drive(ie.. loaded,low rpm condition). That is not an accurate way to diagnois that problem. But it's a good way to start. If you supect a particular wire, you can check them individually for ohm resistance readings. Or while the car is idling, you can undo one wire at a time. If the car does not run worse when you pull a particular plug, it could be that wire, plug or dist cap point.
