WTB: bose deck, I read the sticky, no flame please

Okay, so I actually want to purchase the stock Bose deck for my 91 max. I need some info on it though. Did it just come as a tape deck, or was there a cd player aswell? I think I found one of the tape deck players at a local parts recycler, but it was broke: major fade problems, volume had lost of adjustment static, ect. ect.. So do they exist? bose cd players for 91 SE?? someone clue me in here. thanks
Z
P.S. the last problem I have is an annoying exhaust leak on the rear exhaust manifold, I know one of the studs broke but what I heard is have to resurface the manifold (have it machined flat) otherwise I'm just gonna keep replacing stud after stud after stud. so anybody else heard this??
I'll try to check the board within the next couple days, but don't expect a fast response to any post. thanks
Z

1. it came both ways
2. you may need to resurface or replace it IF you let it go too long.

for the most part I just want to put the stock car back together, keep it as a daily, and then sell it when I get another vehicle. some people say you can splice in the 4th gen bose decks is this true?

yes you can splice in a 4th gen bose, but you'll need the harness that goes into the radio. It is a different connector
