Whistling sound

I hear a loud whistling sound from the air intake. All parts are on straight and tight. Anyone know what may be causing this.

Perhaps a crack in the snorkel or air tubes? Use a tube as a s***hascope and try to pinpoint the location.

Does it sound like a turbo when the pedal gets to a certain point? Mine does that as well and I think it's normal...Besides you can have a pretend turbo

That makes me wonder now, does anyone else get that with the regular intake? It's not really RPM based but just when the butterfly gets to a certain spot it makes a whistle turbo sound? Maybe I'm just special

i removed my snorkel tubes and such, so i'm pulling air from the side of my air box, (working on forced induction) so, mine does the same thing, almost sounds like a turbo or something. just play it off

I'd say check all your tubes and your airbox and make sure there aren't any cracks/ leaks/ loose bolts, etc......also, when i added a K&N filter, i got more of the whistle, due to higher airflow.

I dont remember it happenin on my stock intake, but as soon as I got tubes for cold air intake and K&N filter I notice a whistle sound. its not loud enough for me to say turbo tho. seems to happen only between certain rpm range, never paid attention, ill check it out next time

Yeah, mine definitely has the whistle, it's very noticeable under certain RPM's with about 3/4 throttle. I think it's sheexxsayy

When I open my vg up getting out of 1st and shifting to 2nd it sounds like a blow off valve and the muffler pops if you shift fast enough..

LOL that was hilarious the first time I shifted 1-2 on your car and we heard that.

My max used to do that. I have a few exhaust leaks and a HAI now, after I fix them I hope I still have it either way it'll sound mean buhahaha.
