HEADLIGHT teaser

I will most likely try to mate the E36 backs with the nissan OEM glass housings to maintain the oem lines and appearance. Does anyone know the effects of sanding and buffing out the ridges on the OEM lights? I want to sand out a round area where the projector beam will be concentrated. How much would that affect output?

go with euros. you can use plastic wade covors BUT they will chip scratch and fade over time. and you can only polish them so many times.

No problems here. If they can't be polished, they can be refinished, if then cheap enough to replace.

Those projectors will not do worth a crap with those headlights.

good luck cutting, buffing, and polishing curved glass with hand tools. not something you'll be able to do at home.

+1

No problems with my sealed Wade covers. They've actually been even more sturdy than I anticipated. When I first made them a few years ago, I was honestly expecting a rock to break them on the highway, but they're solid

Virtually all new cars have plastic lenses these days anyway, so we're not any worse off than most new-car owners.

those projectors wont be bad. and well be hella better than stock/stock e36s. the top 5 projectors for low beam are:

ls430-400$
s2000-300$
tsx-150
zkw-150$
valeo h7/d2s adapter'd-90$

bixenons:
TL bixexon-$200
ZKW bixexo-$180
porche bixexon-$180
e55 bixexon-$100-120
e46 bixexon$75-100

and ofcourse using phillips/osram/hella ballast/bulbs OEM is always best for for output/quality/life
