Instrument Panel Dimmer?!

My Instrument Panel Dimming Lights aren't working, I swapped the switch's from my working GXE's to the SE's but they still don't dim...

I think three times since I've had the car they would randomly work, but once it is at a certain brightness it will stay there and you can not adjust them again, luckily when it worked for those three times I just made sure the brightness was all the way up so I haven't had a problem.

Just wondering if the problem might be in my gauge cluster itself? Or is there some fuse? Since the lights work I didn't really look too far into fuses, so I'm kind of lost.

Any help is appreciated...

ouch... that was a fun position. At least I got a few good looks out of the neighbors (Upside-down under the dash with my feet on the roof/seat rest....felt like I was getting that god forsaken keyless entry code)

It appears as though it's mounted from the front of the dash (Meaning I'll have to take apart the bottom in order to access the screws to swap out from my other car.)

Thanks for the input though, I'll swap them out in the next few days and see how it goes. (Yeah, EVERYTHING has to be working in my VE....)
