would it be possible to do a cai and hai? you could use something like a y-pipe and send the cai tube in front of the battery and make the hai go back the way you all are taking the cai tube or something similar?

Why would you want to do that in the first place? The point of a CAI is to draw cooler, denser air away from the hot engine bay. Connecting the tubes halfway where one filter is placed in a hot engine bay just gets you back to square one.

Also... what are these "Would it be possible" questions? Of course it is possible, if you can move things, find the right piping, and route things in the space alloted... than go for it. But if you're doing it for performance than I suggest you pick one or the other.

If you are going to do this, just put the filter under the headlight,it is the best place for it...

if you do this you can put that thing over the filter, (i forgot what its called) but it keeps water out, its kinda like a bag but allows continuous air flow to the filter.

Ahh..The filter diaper..

Still, the best place for the filter is under the driver side headlight...it's also the easiest area to modify, minimal cutting...

i took my CAI off on my VE

thought it was time to clean it (my parking lot at work is a desert)

took it out and it was all rusty and crap...

took it off and put on the adapter to have a short ram intake, louder IMO

and also little more power?...
ever try and suck through a 6' straw? or a "Golf ball through a garden hose!" <--- lol

Here it is with out the flex hose / k+n filter.

the image without the flexhose.. will that work? or do i need the flex hose... cause i was thinking if that will work it will save some cutting and all that.... but if i put headlights in it will be in the way.. so i'm just wondering if that will work

I did too cut, but I used handheld metal cutters. I found that in order to get the room I needed, all I had to do was cut away a few spots. My setup has plenty of room...

I designed mine so you pull it from the top. Not sure what size pipe that accord stuff is but I thought it wasn't a full 3"? this is a pic of 3" tubing all around

IMHO that's too small. Cattman's CAI filter (shown in my pics as I used the same one that kit uses) accepts a 3" pipe. So I used 3" from the filter all the way to the maf.(pic) If you look at the accord versions, you can see the pipe going up in size when it gets to the maf.

yes. 2.75" i cut away in that first pic. I'll have to take a 2nd pic of the new set up. i used a 2.75" - 3" converter on the end of an 90 degree elbow So i could put on the 3" K+N filter. I take my headlight off. then bring the filter up from underneath the bumper and put it on. I've taken my headlights off plenty of times so 1 more time doesnt bother me:-p
