Clear Blinkers!!

I realized after clear cornors and nice clear chrome'd headlights. the blinkers looked a little off. they were hazed had plenty of scratches and chips in them. SO I took them a apart. ripped out the secondary devider that blurred the insides even more. and wet sanded them.

i went with 220 wet/dry sand paper. super fine.
and then with a polisher i made for my drill. i went at them with Maguires plastic polish. I am VERY pleased with the result. Now that i see the amount of room i got in there. I will be retro fitting Bosch mini projectors in there as fogs. to keep the stock body lines. here are some pics

no flash

Can we get a pic or at least a description of the polisher you made?

Was it ColumbiaMax that posted about wiring the blinkers to have running lights? I think that would be a good combo with this.

Didn't Craig Brace do that a long time ago? There is a write up on on his website under the exterior section of his How-To's. That is where I got directions to do it when I wired mine to alternatively flash.

I have removed the diffusers from the turns and am still unhappy with the light output. I still want to use them as turns, but hate the light output. Any chance I could upgrade the bulbs to say like a 27 watt 881? Think just blinking would generate too much heat?

I was thinking of using these:

I did this to my blinker lenses... I polished them and removed the diffuser plate inside. It looked nice and clear like these did but when the signal was on it looked like a wimpy little bulb blinking behind the lens, so i put the diffuser plate back in
