The Great 3rd Gen Picture Thread/READ RULES BEFORE POSTING!
alright, let me explain the crazy wheelgap. I have 2" drop springs in the basement, but im waiting for some struts (all the Ebay sellers said they have them, but now they dont because Tokico discontinued them). im waiting on one more seller before i give up and try dropping on my current KYB GR2. rolling on stock rims because its going to be a track car and if theyre getting beat up anyways, i dont want anything nice. may get some 3rd gen SE rims or R32 Skyline rims if i can get a cheap set

my new maxima:)
so I have always wanted a clean *** 89 maxima, that i could customize.
i finally found one at the auctions a couple months ago, got it for 450$. All i had to replace was the front bumper and the fender. the car only has 68,000 original miles on it, nothing wrong with it at all. after fixing it and everything im into it about 1000 bucks. now i just dont know where to start to make it look nice! but here it is.

Well, here is the '89 I have. It was given to me by a family friend. It had the engine swapped, then the heater core went. So the guy was going to junk it. Then, out of the goodness of my heart I offered to give it to my Sister's boyfriend. Things are turning sour there, so I'm taking my car back...
Need to give it a bath, and clean the engine bay out. Then start fiddling with it a bit. I really just need something I can drive while my truck is down. Don't want to put a ton of money in it. So I'll most likely build my own exhaust, and if I can find it at the junk yard, a manual swap. Wouldn't mind lowering it a bit too, but eh...
Sorry about the pictures... New camera. Still figuring it out.

After my truck is done, I'll have a spare 350SB. Hmmm...

Ok this is in regards to those who claim dino oil or synthetic oil makes no difference. I beg to differ. I have a parts car ve auto and it had dino in it. After popping the valve covers off I saw nothing but sludge and black gunk build up. As were my ve-5 that only gets nothing but synthetic oil as you can see in the pick looks D**n good for being a 93 and well taken car of.

Looks good dude. Nice and clean transmission as well lol
Eww just noticed yours is an abs model lol. First gen abs is so harsh lol. Pump the peddld for me. I have a non abs ve-5.
Also you do know having that breather where your crank case ventilation tube is is drawing in unmetered air into the motor. Cars equipped with maf's are very temperamental to having extra unmetered air in the system. You will end up running lean.
