My friend has a 92 gxe...
he was wondering if a 93 SE TwinCam Tranny would fit into his 92 Gxe SingleCam..
like could you convert that?

 

Like no....

The VE auto starter is a completley different design,in addition to that the ve flex plate must be used with the ve starer for it to work...

Heres the catch,the ve flexplate will not mount up to the vg crankshaft..

Your talking about putting a VE (twin cam) auto tranny in a 92 gxe (VG aka single cam) right? Greeny is right, it wont work. Only the 5 speeds can be interchanged.
