I have seen many Maximas with the front Nissan emblem removed. Do you have to remove the grill in order to remove the emblem and, if so, how hard is it?

Nope. The grill can stay. As a matter of fact I'd like to do a mesh grill, but I'm afraid I'm going to break it trying to take it off. Just pinch together the tabs that protrude back into the grill and wiggle it forward. Two tabs press in towards the center and the third you pull upward. Nothing to it.
