Short shifter ideal!
it's been done before. be sure to buy several hacksaw blades, because it's strong steel and you're going to be cutting for quite a while.
I also suggest only cutting off about 3/4" at a time, jsut so you don't cut it too short the first time and decide you hate it.

?????? I still can't get my stock one off
I have tried everything and I am not exactly a small guy or anything.....it must be welded on
But the way I see it a shift **** is a shift **** just because it says momo doesn't mean you'll shift quiker/smoother. So just go with what looks good to you

It's not a matter of screwing it off, at least it wasn't with mine. I just had to pull really, really, freakin hard. I got a MOMO carbon fiber adjustable ****. Looks good, but costs $80...

Thanks for the info...
I actually saw a deal somewhere for a manual shift **** that had the numbers light up. They had it in red, white, blue and green (I think). I'll see if I can find the pics and the info as to where to order them. They had them on back-order, and would e-mail everyone that ordered them when they'd come in.
