Hi,

I need some help, recently the studs for the exhaust manifold broke. My dad and I replace all the studs, gasket and took the manifold to the machine shop to get it straighten. We hook everything back together and it still sounded the same and also drove the same. I'm thinking its a leak in the exhaust manifold itself but I don't know can anybody help me or give me some advice

you didnt mention if you checked both manifolds intake and exhaust because most times the exhaust may leak first anyway try double gaskets when bolting everthing up again good luck.

Yea I only check the exhaust manifold because it had two broken studs in it. I'm wondering does the air filter play in part with the car having no acceleration. Because I have a K&N filter I was wondering.
