CV Joint boot torn...bad vibration in front end
Here is a 2 part question for you guru's:
so just recently I noticed that the front end of my car has been vibrating pretty bad...so i got on the ground and underneath the car at the left front end and noticed the CV Joint boot is torn. Could this be the culprit of the vibration?
I also noticed that at normal driving but more noticeably on bumps I am hearing a constant noise from the left front as well....constant noise meaning like the suspension is clunking....again no tech here but if you can shed some light I'd appreciate it!
thanks

CV should only make make a clicking/ klunking sound on turns.
A bad bearing would make it really rough, even scraping sounds.
A bad stablizer link in the front would also a sort of clunking on bumps and hard turns that would roll the body.

i have a problem simialar to the one started. I ridding on intrax and kyb setup and im on my second pair of reman. cv axle's. Iv'e had my setup for three years and no blown struts nor sagging springs. The same problem consist of click clack click clack on turns and vibrations. everytime i replace them both pass/driver they run fine until they fail. Iv'e been back and fourth to autozone for there lifetime reman axles.
-i was thinking is intrax springs making my ride too low to the point that they blow cv axles?
-Or do i need to ditch my reman axles and get new ones?
