The great 3rd gen mileage thread :-)

Alright guys/gals, our old cars are getting into the vintage state now,so i think it's time for a mileage thread.

A few rules.

1.Pictures are prefered to text.(refer to picture posting sticky if you don't know how to post pics)

2.Try to keep the yapping to a minimum.

3.Brian/Jeffy/MrGone,buy another 3rd gen maxima,then post pics.

Here we go..

Mine just rolled over 40k yesterday. I bought it from my grandpa two years ago with 28k on the odo.
I'm afraid his G35 will have a similar fate.

wow. how is that thing not all dried out?... or is it?
i mean, does it feel like a 16 year old car, or a 40k mile car, or some of both?

No, it's pretty nice. It gets up and goes like a regular 40k car. The only part that feels dated is the horsepower count, and that's still not bad.

Thats not a lot for a month, at least going that route your oil change interval is 2+ months. I'm piling on miles at a faster rate than that nearly 2500 -3k a month. My buddy piled 2800 miles in 2 days this weekend when we drove through the whole midwest.

That's 60mph for a full 48 hours without stopping

I've got 160K on mine, and it's been on the Autobahn and Nurburgring. Stock, but still fast.

lol well considering im 16, i think it's a lot..plus i have a gas leak somewhere which is killing my MPG that NEEDS to be fixed but has yet to be..unemployment doesn't really help either..but i know a guy who knows a guy who might hook me up. but back on topic

2.3K miles + 1 month + 16 y.o.(driver) = A lot don't you think?
