Wow, looks sweet! Yes, the 3rd gen IIRC did come with two different kinds of leather seats. 1989-1991 and 92-94 I believe.

You have the older design, then came this design:

i wish i had leather seats! the GXE cloth is just too grippy. The way i have my seat and steering wheel (seat pretty close, back fairly straight, wheel tilted fairly low), i have to squirm and twist to get into the seat.. slick leather would make that easier on me.

Leather takes a lot more maintenance though... plus sun fading and ripping and stuff. I'd choose Velour over anything, Much more comfortable than GXE cloth and looks more luxury than tweed

Ahh the ribbed leather,my ve originally had tan ribbed leather seats, but time and lots of use took it's toll. I now have the regular smooth leather.

IIRC,the ribbed leather was a special dealer option, not alot of 3rd gens have these seats.

Great find!!

These came out from a 94SE, so it looks more like a dealer option like MrGreen said.

God damn that is a real nice find. I've got the same but my leather is all cracked at the top of the rear seat. How much did you pay for that? I guess I'll start looking at craig's list.

My leather is different from both of those and it's blue. Guess I should get a pic.

I am not sure about differences between 89-91 and 92-94, but I think the "poofy" leather was dealer installed, as opposed to factory.

NismoChi -- did you also get all four of the door panels? (I see one in your picture). Usually they have leather door panels instead of the velour ones on the "puffy" leather interior.

I wonder if the different leather has anything to do with power seats? For example, my car has factory leather (smooth kind) and has dual power seats. It is my second 92 SE with the same package.

MrGone's 92 SE had dealer installed leather (more poofy kind) and he did not have power seats.

Well, as i remember the SE that i got all the interior parts from has "puffy" leather front seats which are not power, and yes i got all the door panels as well and the "storage cover" between the two front seats.
The front seat which i didn't buy are in great shape, too. So if anyone of you guys want them, let me know.

From the photo it looks like he already has some whacky aftermarket front seats, with what look like horizontal cup holders.

the leather looks like it is in good shape but IMO looks kinda chryslerish. Like something from a New Yorker or 5th Ave

The question is, are the Corbeau seats comfortable? :-)

Probably, I'm looking at getting a set for my 240. It's stock seats suck. Not all that comfortable and you can slide around. Those are still pretty comfortable, and depending on the exact seat maybe more comfortable.

Are they comfy? You bet, even on long trip. Really.
Alex, if you think the 240 stock seat suck, try sit in a Infi J30, it offer no support
what so ever, for an overall awesome car like that it really is a shame to seats like that. IMO the stock Maxima seat is not bad at all.

Oh no they offer support, they just aren't too comfortable and even tho they have small bolsters I still slide around quite a bit. They are better for keeping you in one spot then the maxima seats but aren't the most comfortable for long drives. The seats you have I'm sure area better at both, I really need a set of them...

Ive sat in j30 seats, and they are typical of luxo seats. IE no bolsters and very soft/comfortable.

not easy, fabrication and adaption is required for the downgrade.
