The SE Maxima's have the independant suspension with disc brakes. I've got it on mine.

all the 3rd gens should have the ind suspension set up.
they took it out for the 4th gen and replaced it with a beam link set up deal.

Sorry, but wrong! Not ALL 3rd gens have independant rear suspension. I've not seen a single model outside an SE with it. All other models have "The Bar."

Uhhh, there's "the bar" on there, but that's the frame crossmember that connects everything together..
ALL 3rd GEN MAXIMAS HAVE INDEPENDENT REAR SUSPENSION.

If this were not the case, It would have been impossible for me to have converted to rear discs on my GXE using the SE strut and disc assemblies. they bolt right up.

if you want pics, check again later when I've got access to my server and I'll show you proof that it's got independent suspension.

I'll admit when I'm wrong. Checked my sources, found nothing other than independant. Hey, I said "I hadn't seen...!"
