the performance of the heims is much greater, but the heims have some noise associated with them over bumpy roads when you're going slow. at highway speeds I can't tell a difference in the noise- just the handling.
the poly bushings are great for a daily driver.. unless you're an autoxer or want the badass stuff, I'd recommend just going with the poly. the performance difference is definitely there, but I'm not sure if I'd be willing to pay an additional $300 for it unless I was looking for times.

What kind of parallel links are those? How much did you get them for?
aaaannnndd.... why is only 1 side of parallel link adjustable? Shouldn't both sides be adjustable?
gahh! don't hit me if there's only 1 obvious suppliers of the links (ie. Intrax)... if so, where did you get 'em? Will they give me a hook up
FYI...
going to suspension.com to bring pain to my funds

dood.. they're STOCK. he just stuck the energy suspension bushings in them and possibly painted them..
only 1 side is adjustable because that's all you need to adjust the toe. making the other side adjustable would allow you to adjust camber in the rear as well, but most people never have an issue with it.

They are the stock links,i just painted them up nicely to prevent further rust issues..
You only need to adjust rear toe in-out when aligning the rear suspension(like the front) so only one side of the links need to be adjustable..

Thank you sir, will be ordering em tonight. Gonna be getting rear disc swap parts Saturday from JY, spotted couple candidates...I'm gonna take the parallel links as well so I have a spare set to sand(blast) and paint so when the bushings arrive I can just install em with teh washers and toss em on along with a nice sand(blasted) and painted strut assemblies as well.
Gotta make sure they're equally screwed as the ones on my car so I dont mess up my recent alightment right?
*detailing engine bay one last time before I put my new undercarriage splashguards
*rear disc swap
*parallel link busings
*alignment
So I just ordered em' right now, sorry Matt I got em from the murderers cuz I only had $40 bucks even left over and order came out to 39.30 lol
Why is CN bad?
Called and asked if they came with Washers as well and they said they did.

So I got my bushings today and got all excited that I was gonna do em this weekend but guess what, please tell me its not a mistake and this is ok. One of the bushings is smaller than all 15. heres a pic.

404 error: washers not found...go to the hardware store and spend $.37 or whatever on some washers...it's a safety issue and I'm surprised someone hasn't tried to sue ES over it at some point or another...I was mid-way through a shrinking-radius turn at about 80mph when one of my bushings decided to "step up" over the ledge on the parallel link. It resulted in snap-oversteer and it was all I could do to keep the car in control with the suspension loaded like that...Needless to say I added washers to the setup the next day...I think I even posted a thread about it...
Thanks Wayne, if worse comes to worst...I might have to bug you. but for now I shall call em 2352 is the number for all 15 and 2335 is the number for the small one, you can def tell there was a mix up
Alright, so I called Courtesy this morning and told em I got wrong/incomplete set and they said they'd send me a replacement. He checked all the boxes and non of em' had washers so I'll just get em here. He made sure there were 8 sleeves and 16 bushings along with 3 bags of lube. Guess Wayne got lucky with a spare.
When I asked if I'd have em by the weekend cuz thats when I planned on doing the job, he promptly said that wouldn't be a problem and he would overnight em along with a return label for the other kit. I thought that was nice. I checked the UPS tracking and they're in Louiseville, KY at the moment.

heh... courtesy must be finally hearing of their bad rap....
2 years ago, they wouldn't even overnight a part that was their screwup and had my car stranded on jackstands waiting on a replacement....

why do we use them anyways? better prices? better availability? the diagrams are nice but you can printscreen and take it to the dealer. Unless it's stuff that most dealers don't have.
Ok, so I got everything done. wire brushed on grinding wheel, sandblasted, rust-o-leomed links and 'crossmember' aka subframe. Paint came out ok cuz the weather didnt help cold + rain
Bushings did definately make ride more solid feeling like as in new car solid. Quieter and less clunky in the rear.
Thanks for the idea Wayne!!
PS. are there any other ES bushings that they make for the 3rd gen?

I dont but I do know that parts did transfer me to customer service in which I didnt get an answer but rather an answering machine. Very professional, I got a call in less than 30 minutes. Based on my message which included my name and phone number he already knew what I had ordered before me even mentioning...I dont know I guess I found it professional IMO.
Matt, if they were crap before, I either got lucky or they have realized that and have been working on correcting themselves.

Alright guys, after noticing such improvement with poly bushings I've been looking around for others to replace but havent found much.
Dont know if this has been known or not but for other fellow noobs, I just did a bit of research and found out through Courtesypart.com that:
3rd gen front swaybar to frame bushing part number is: 54613
4th gen front swaybar to frame bushing part number isL 54613
ES's part number for frontswaybar to frame bushing part number is 7.5118 which I believe will fit our cars
On Energysuspension.com there's no listing for 3rd gens whatsoever but they're the same.
Let me know if this is already something known I was unaware of...
