Clutch slave cylinder..

When you push your clutch pedal in,the fluid you push through the lines ends up at this unit. Then this slave cylinder pushes a "rod",this rod operates a shift fork inside the bell housing of your transmission, the shift fork pushes the throwout bearing down on to the pressure plate located on your flywheel, this disengages the clutch friction plate from the flywheel contact surface.
