i have a 90 gxe. i replaced the speed sensor over a year ago and the speedo worked fine until recently. now it is reading high until i step on the brake or gas and make it change, thereby righting itself.
also, my odometer doesnt work all the time. it has done this since before the speed sensor was changed. the temp gauge doesnt work all the time either.

does anyone have any ideas as to my problem? is there one cause or are the three unrelated?

i appreciate any help.

Could be dry joints in the dash. I had my dash out on the weekend giving it a bit of a tickle up as it had an infrequent speedo reading.

It is really easy to do if you are reasonably handy with a soldering iron. The longest part was getting the dash apart, but from start to finish it took me 2 hours. Problem solved also.

Brent.
