i dont know about the sc, but i've talked to a few companies about turbochargers and they'll gladly do it but expect to pay around $4-5k. they said the big issue is getting custom piping and mounting the stuff.

Here is the skinny.....

First off you need to buy the supercharger itself. After that a shop can modify it to your car. Be prepared to have about 2 months of downtime and a bill coming up to $5k. Even then there is no garantee that your car will be faster than a good driver with NOS. If you really want forced induction here is what your gonna need bare minumum and the projected cost. 6 fuel injectors from a 300zxTT($104 each), 1 fuel pump ($225) from a TTZ, JWT ECU reprogrammed for the injectors and turbo program ($600), 1 turbocharger a T3/T4 is a good turbo but opt for full ball bearings for minimal spool up lag. They run for around $500 for a normal T3/T4 and about $900 for a BB T3/T4. After you get the turbo you will need custom exhaust manifolds or a custom downpipe ($800-1200). Then comes the cost of turbo oil and water supply lines and the labor of installing it. Not to mention there are going to be some things that have to be dealt with. First off with the 10.1CR of the VE engine it limits the boost you can run. To be able to run more boost you have to lower compression, this means the pistons need to be replaced. Now your faced with putting in new pistons, I suggest forged 8.5CR pistons or stock VG30DETT ones, then have the oil squirter from that engine installed too. Next you should balance the crank and shotpeen it and the rods. Since your rebuilding the engine might as well port the heads and the intake manifold. Then bore the stock TB about 5mm. Once your finished you might have max that dynos around 260-300hp at the wheels but you spent around $10k to have it all done! When you could have spent around $4k and had the VG30ET getting then same results! Remember you can go as fast as your wallet will allow. The trick is to get the best setup for the right amount of $$$.
