I'm looking for the best deal on some good quality drop coils that will give my car a agressive stance. Can anyone give me prices, opinions, where I can buy & if they are progressive rate springs or not. Thanx

Well.....

there is a suspension "sticky" on the top of the forum page you can refer to for further info! but if you want optimum performance and stiffness go for Eibach, they are only 1.2" lowering springs, but most say they are the BEST as far as performance goes. Suspension Techniques will lower 1.5" and are probably the 2nd most optimal "performance" oriented spring. but if you're going for more "show" appearance there are Sprints(1.8" drop) and Intrax(1.75" drop), I have Sprints(in my trunk ), but have yet to put them on! There is also B&G(1.6" drop) and Arospeed(1.75" drop) springs as well, but no one I know has 'em. and yes you might need dust boots if the OEMs are "ripped"

Intrax and Suspension Techs at discounttiredirect.com and jcwhitney.com I'm sure there are other places out there, but these two seem to have the best prices!

no, suspen. tech. springs are NOT progressive, that's why you can find them for such a low price. for any spring you choose to go with, get them from zr motorsport. my friend owns the company and can get low prices on anything. e-mail kris at kcampos42@aol.com.

linear springs have coils that are the same spacing between each coil all throughout. progressive springs have one end that has coils that are closer together. this way, when you are cornering, the harder you cornder, the more the spring compresses. linear springs don't do this.
