Heres the deal. I bought a 93 GXE Max a month ago. The person I bought it from said he had to replace two fuel injectors within two years. Shortly after I bought the car the car started running like ****. I narrowed it down to the #3 cylinder. When I remove the fuel injector harnes or the spark plug wire on this cylinder there was no change in the engines idle. Make a short story long, I had to replace all the fuel injectors. Got everything back together and now the #1 injector is not firing and the exhaust has a little back fire. Let the engine cool down for a few beers and then the #1 was working. But again I had a little back fire. I was told that it had to deal with the Nissan metal gaskets I used. Are Felpro gaskets, or anyother brand, made differently and if so would it cause the back fire. Also, standing in front of the car, there is a vacum hose running from the left backside of the upper intake manifold that was connected to nothing. Is this vacum hose suppose to connect to something?

Thank you in advance.

PS Everything was put back together the way it was taken apart. (I labeled everything)

I also have that same vacuum hose that is not connected to anything. I wonder what the hell it is for.

But, to answer your query, Nissan gaskets are highly recommended due to the seating area surface. Also, make sure that the seating surface is thoroughly clean and dry.
