What's better?

Overdrive On or Overdrive Off?

Does it depend on city/hwy driving?

just depends on what the driving conditions are. when i drive at 45mph or less especially on a road with traffic lights OD is off. once over 50 and of course on the highway OD is on. then if i feel the need to "have fun" with someone on the highway OD pops off so the tranny shifts down and i mash the pedal

On or off depends on what you want to do. Do you want to save a little gas/noise while leisurely cruising around or do you want to leave it in a lower gear so you'll have more power and the tranny won't have to shift so much? If traffic is heavy and speeds vary a lot or you need power sooner, you should probably leave it off. However many people drive with overdrive on all the time since all it is just another taller gear, and the tranny will automatically shift down if you punch it. This can be annoying in some cars though (depending on how much gear hunting it does), so you should see which feels better for you. HTH
