I can get a factory double din cd player from a 97 se and wanted to know if it can be put in my 93 GXE which only has a cassete player now (non BOSE). Thanks....

 

I have theory on this. I want to do something similar to what you want to do. I dont know how the 97 radio amp setup is. But here is my theory. First you need to cut an actual factory harness that is in a 97 or similar year maxima. then you go buy a radio wiring harness from local radio shop for the 93 maxima. you connect the 2 harneses together, gonna need a wiring diagram for the factory 97 harness. on one side you will havea plug that will go into the radio, the other end should plug in the 93 maxima factory hrness. Like i said earlier...you have factory amps in the cars...those might be a problem. But strictly for the wiring part....you will need the 2 harneses and it should work. LEmme know
