My remote for the stock alarm is pretty out of shape and I'm interested in replacing it. Where can I get one?

I wasn't aware that any 3rd gen had remotes for anything... the stock alarm is a very simple job, turned off by sticking a key in the door and turning it. remotes would only be aftermarket stuff. if it IS an OEM job- which I doubt- you can get the parts from any friendly nissan parts dealer.

Hmmm.... I'd like to SEE that! Not doubting your word, but I've never seen an OEM keyfob-type alarm for 3rd Gen's, unless it was a dealer aftermarket install, and they modified the remote to "appear" to be factory. If you have pics or could find someone that had pics, I'd be very interested in seeing them, as I've been in the alarm/stereo business for close to 10 years, give or take an odd job here and there, and now I'm curious!

you know...after much thinking...even though I've seen the remotes, it's probably not factory. I'm gonna rest my case and say I was mistaken. Sorry guys.
