I'm soon going to order a new window regulator for the driver's rear power window. One of the things that really gets to me is the rear windows not going down all the way (a VERY inconvenient safety feature), and I was wondering if a front window regulator would fit the rear door or if the rear regulator could be modified easily to allow the window to fully roll down. I'm figuring as long as I have the door apart I should try to get things how I want them if possible.

nope, sorry

the window cannot physically fit all the way down

when you take apart your door, check out the curve at the bottom which is due to the wheel
you will see that there isn't room for the window to go all the way down

also, in case you need help with regulator installation, go to my site; it's in the how-to with pics
but I'm sure you've already searched and found that, right?

Oh yeah, I've already had the door apart. I just didn't look close enough to see that the window wont fit. Oh well, can't get everything.
