and he tried so hard.....anyways I was coming home tonight and saw a Accord wagon('93-94?), lowered, exhaust, intake and blue washer lights(25+ hp ) and about 4 blue fog lights anyways I speed by, of course he jumps on and does the whole tailgate thing....(1)so I punch and leave him about 1 length behind....(2)he catches up and paces me on the right and from a 40-60mph punch we go again...once again, I leave him by 1.5 car lengths. we stop at the next light, cruise through "cop land" and finally line up at the next light on a 3 lane highway.....(3)(third time is the charm!!)I smash the gas off the line and he stays with me until about 30mph and I slowly begin to pull on him, by ~60 one length, then by ~80mph 2 lengths and then I flash the hazards and shut down. he does the "ricer fly-by" of course and I gun it once more and catch up to him at the light and come up right next to him, but he quickly makes a right turn and drives away...awww man, I wanted to congradulate him! anyways I really think the car is performing well, my takeoff is a little sluggish, but most of all the trans is shifting beutifully through all the gears and its pretty much feather soft...hope it stays that way! *knock on wood* and the intake sounds SO SWEET when I floor it!!!!! it felt good to actually "pull" on someone too, it was pretty cool to see him fade of into my rear view after about 50 or 60mph, I guess my car still has it....the good ole 91 GXE VG, its a damn trooper!

Hehehe.....

well to tell you the truth, I was seriously looking to buy one of those 90's Accord wagons back in the day...I think they look sweet when hooked up right, BUT not better then a 3rd gen of course!

and to mykizism: nope no catback system, just an intake and Dynomax muffler with the stock 2.25" catback(and leaking y-pipe ) I'm hoping to get the WSP y-pipe and custom catback later this year though.

Hmmm........

there always was a argument on here over the stock size, 2" or 2.25"...I was on the 2.25" side of the argument, but I'm starting to think 2" is stock now since your saying that too(and since coutless others have said the same). Hmmm.....I guess when I bought my car 3 years back the previous owner had already switched the pipig from 2" to 2.25"...

hm yah the guys i spoke with told me my stock piping is 2", and he said 2.25 would be best, 2.5 he said will lose hp he said.. check under your car, and see ifyou have a resonator, (it looks like a sliencer on a gun) it should be right after the Cat, if its still there then its should be stock piping unless they kept the res. too, but its like this Cat, Res, then piping .. check for weld marks around to see if its stock looking or not

When I had mine replaced it had stock 2" piping on it. I know it was from the factory because we have owned the car since new.
