Rear window motor still operational (I can hear it), but heard something crack and jam the motor's ability to raise the glass. Can raise the glass by hand, pretty loose, but won't stay up on it's own for long. Anyone else have this problem that they have fixed?

 

i had the same problem with mine, the motor worked but some cord wrapped around it and i had to take it to the dealer

 

very common problem
it's your window regulator that has gone bad
check www.kalebonline.com in the maxima garage section for part numbers for the correct window regulator
