knock sensor location
Howdy,
I've got a '90 Maxima (VG30E) and I've received an error message which suggests that my detonation (knock) sensor is malfunctioning. My local Nissan garage (actually, 2 of them) have stated that 9 times out of 10 this is not the problem. My real problem is: where is the sensor located on the engine? I CANNOT seem to find it and I'd like to replace it so I can at least eliminate that possibility. Anyone dealt with this before?
Thanks!
Cary
