My car is starting to 'feel'funny. I mean that it isn't feeling the same anymore, or sounding the same. I need suggestions on basic upkeep ideas (What to do, what I need to do it etc.) I am not looking for mods right now (with exception of air filter, etc) For instance, when car starts, it makes an unhealthy noise for about 10 seconds and also the car seems to have lost power. Give me ideas of preferred Brand Names, places to buy them (I live in Austin for more specific places). Thanks

Also, the car hasn't been garage kept, and I am seeing paint fading due to the sun, anything I can to do reverse process (I doubt it) or what I can do/use to prevent further damage?

 

tried waxing it? Dont they teach you anything at TU? hehe

the noice is either that vatc crap, or you are low on oil and its the rockers singing until the oil pressure builds up.

if paint is fading try waxing it with mothers brand wax, go to walmart and buy some

 

I have obviously been waxing it (forgot to mention it...oops), The car was my father's and he lived in an apartment since he owned the car and it had sat in the Texas sun all day everyday. The damage had been done before I got the car, I just didn't know if there was any product that could help it more than just the wax though.
