Radiator coolant cost how much??
The cost of antifreeze is $5-10/gallon. you'll need just over 1 gallon of coolant to do the job (which means you gotta buy 2 and use 1.2)..
the rest of the money they're charging you for is labor.
it's pretty easy to change the stuff yourself if you've got a couple hours of time and a place to dispose of the used coolant.
(it's highly poisonous to animals and smells/tastes like sugar, so you can't jsut dump it in the street... many local laws prohibit pouring it down the drain too, so many parts stores will accept used fluids for you. call a local store and see what they recommend. Some will tell you to just dump it in the street and wash down with plenty of water. again, it gets back to the animal thing.
