Bose deck frying?
How likely is it for a 93 max se's stock bose tape player to completely fry so that there is no sound but the leds and stuff stay turned on, you just cant hear anything? Anyone ever see this before? Have suggestions for me?
Thanks

It could be the drive belt in the radio thats slipping, When they get old the belt stretches. I'm pretty sure their is a Technical Service Bulliten about replacing the belt.
Currently mine will make a screeching sound once the deck has warmed up (but not all the time). I plan to replace the belt once I get the chance.

Call Short Circuit in San Jose, CA there a good place to have BOSE decks for repair. They repair all the car dealers decks. Sorry don't have there phone number on hand. Try looking them up with www.anywho.com
