I just realized the i have two different mirrors on my max. its a 93 gxe ive had it for two years wash it at least once a week and i just now realized they are different they are both nissan but the passengers side on looks like what most people have then the drivers one doesnt have the gap between the door and the mirror like the passengers one does. anyway this is really bothering me now that i know about it and i think someone on here swapped their mirrors for some from a bmw. can someone tell me who that was or any other suggestions. thanks

the 89/90 had a different mirror than the 91-94
the earlier one is more square and closer to the body, while the later model sticks out further from the car

try a junkyard to find a matching one

 

thanks craig for letting me know that atleast i have two maxima mirrors, my car was in an accident and had body work before i bought it and apparently the body shop either messed up or was just cheap where they could be. Ill have to try a junkyard unless i decide to get a different style of mirrors all together.
