Problem when in reverse
could be a bad shifter bushing, but that's just my guess
you can replace it yourself by jacking up the front end and removing the heat shield from just above the catalytic converter (take the cat off if it's not too rusted on or just undo the bolts holding it to the rubber hangers so you can have some room to work around it and slide the shield out the side) and then you should be able to see where it will go and inspect your other one
