I was pleased when I got my kit. I didn't notice any differences, but I did like havinga piece of mind that my sockets and wiring wouldn't burn out!

I do have issues every now and then when I flip on the high beams...it's like the bulb is messed up because the light won't turn on. Anybody else have this problem?

I have the same problem sometimes too. It sucks when you are driving down a dark road, turn on your high beams and then....nothing!! No light at all...then when I put the low beams back on, only my fog lights go on so everything look yellow I actually still have a problem with the passenger side light no coming all the way on when I turn on the headlights. I have to touch the ground wire then it turns right on. I dont get it

Good luck with the new harness. I did notice an improvement in brightness when I installed my harness. I hope you enjoy it.

Whats the APC rewire kit and how bad is the problem with the brights? Is it easy to install? Is it for hyperwhite bulbs?

the APC rewire kit is basically just higher powered wiring and wiring harnesses for your headlights. they are not only for hyperwhite bulbs, you can use them with any bulbs, but there's really no point in having the kit unless you have bulbs that have a higher wattage. as far a the problems w/ the brights, i have no problems at all, it works fine for me. installation will take a couple hours.

the reason i had to get this kit is because my nokya bulbs melted my stock harnesses.

What are all of you using for bulbs??? The APC kit should only be used with higher wattage bulbs because it is set up to allow more power to flow to the bulbs. If you are using stock bulbs then you are really not getting the full use of the harness and could possible burn out your bulbs. Try switching to higher wattage bulbs to see the full advantage of having the APC harness.

i'm using nokya artic white bulbs which are 85/100w bulbs. i ended up getting the kit because the bulbs fried my stock harness.

i have had it for about 3 or 4 weeks now with no problems at all.
