auto/manual
Hey guys! I'm new here, but i drove my 92 SE since 95. It's an auto, but I wold really like to have a 5-sp. Was anyone here able to successfully convert Auto to 5-sp. I know it is probably easier to by a 5-sp, but this car is in exelent condition, and low miles. My parents got it brand new, and i dont think I've seen anyone take better care of it than my dad
Anyway could someone please let me know about the swap, and the details of it:time, price, etc...
Thanks.

everyone in here will tell u its not worth it just about....i would save up and just drive yours and buy a 5 speed later if its in good condition, or sell yours and get a 5 speed, but the ve sticks are hard to come by

yeah, people like me normally beat em actually from what i've heard, you'll have to pretty much find a junked SE with a 5 spd cause of all the parts you'll need. By the time you're done, you might as well have bought a new car. but good luck if you decide to do it. it'll be a first.

Re: auto/manual
Just get a protorque torque convertor and VB from Don in Texas, that is all you need. It will still drive like an auto but the shifts will be alot faster and you can jump off the line alot harder.
