are window washer lights illegal?

 

I dont think so, I havent seen or heard of anybody getting pulled over because of them. But you know the pigs may use it as an excuse to do it.

 

Unless they are yellow, yes they are.

in new york. cops pull u over for any color especially when they are trying to make their quota, and for side makers if its yellow they don't mess with you.

 

i just got a ticket for my hoodlights...not to mention my tinted tails and side markers....

Yes,Anything facing forward is supposed to be White,Sideways orange,Backwards red.

 

Actually (and I speak from *personal* experience), the law varies from state to state, and even then, from one city to the next. But dmontzmax has the general rule of thumb. Although law enforcement is generally kinda lenient when it comes to the color of lights facing forward.

As a rule, though, red and blue forward-facing lights are reserved for emergency and law enforcement vehicles, and you're asking for it if you put anything like that up front.
