UDP gains?

i was just wondering how much HP i would get from the UDP, so i went over to UR's site, and here is the weight difference between the pulleys:

stock : 7 lbs 1.4 oz
UR UDP: 1 lbs 8.7 oz

thanks to my TI-83, the weight difference is 5.54375 lbs, and UR claims "An average of 2.7 HP is gained from every pound lost off the crank shaft." so i'm doin the math, and it looks like i'll get 14.968125 HP, or in other words, 15 HP from this. does that sound right? i dunno, but for some reason i didn't think i would get that much. and please don't tell me to go get a dyno cuz that's not a possibility. here's more from UR's website:

"Unorthodox Racing lightened underdrive pulleys can provide gains of 5 to 12 HP and 4 to 8 lbs.-ft. on normally aspirated engines"

this seems more reasonable.. but then again there's the TTZ that got 37 HP

anyway, i ordered one, and it should be here next week

I have heard that a UDP provides more of a gain than a full exhaust.

One thing

In my opinion if you have a auto the gains from the UDP will not be as noticeable as a 5spd. The torque converter robs too much from the drive wheels
