i had them and liked them alot, then the bulbs lost they're blueness..i think its because they are autozone POS bulbs. anyway, it looks great i think, just get higher quality bulbs like eurolite or polarg.

I tried blue colored bulbs back there, but they were so dim you could bareley see them. Also, they are so dim they actually looked purple. I didnt like them at all so I put my eurolites in there. Those look great in there.

it looked sweet. a little dim but i could still see it. also, sometimes you can turn your lights on and see the guages lit up, that goes away with the blue bulbs, but you dont need the lights then anyway, you can still see the guages. also, when i first put the bulbs in they looked really dim and i couldnt see much other than a slight blue glow. then i plugged the dimmer back in and adjusted it, looked fine.

Wassup with those Intelliglow Needle Kits???

Sounds like dem blue lights is da shiznit…

But has anybody tried the Intelliglow Needle Kits from ImportIntelligence.com? The kit for the 3rd Gen Max is about $70 (2 long/2 short needles) and the pics look TIGHT on their website. I've also heard that the install takes a couple of hours to complete.

If anybody's done this mod, please let a brotha know 'bout dat! I want to try them, but if it's a waste, then I wan know beforehand, yadig?

Re: Re: Wassup with those Intelliglow Needle Kits???

ngthing,

I'm all for that cheaper solution to a common problem theme. Where do I get the blue LEDs/resistors from? I'm kinda new to this one, so I'm going to need the idiot's guide on this install.

How long did it take you, and is there somebody somewhere that will/has walked down this path (and took good notes while they were down there)?

Holla back, bro!
