Clutch replacements
My 93 se has 92k on it and I have no idea when anything was replaced, as far as the clutch is concerned what do you recommend in as far as saving the tranny/giving me more performance (as far as slipping) than oem replacement, or will those two not go together at all?

AFAIK, a high perf. clutch isn't necessary unless you race your car, or have a fair number of horsepower-adding mods. High perf. clutches give more "holding power" to the clutch by stiffer springs and/or more heavy duty clutch material. Expect the clutch pedal effort to increase. It won't do anything to extend tranny life, and your stock clutch shouldn't be slipping under normal usage unless it's due for replacement or contaminated.

I agree with what Bman said..
after that, I've got an ACT "street disc" clutch.. it's their basic upgrade... holding power out the **** on this thing.. I can chirp 2nd consistently, and 3rd if I try.. I've even done 4th a time or two on old asphalt roads..
another big thing you need to watch are your engine and tranny mounts.. if they're worn, you can cause lots of problems with shifting.. (i.e. my engine hit my HOOD once when I had a bad front engine mount.
