Has anybody experienced a strange idle immediately after installing Place CAI?

Well, I hadn't started my car in about a week. The first start after putting on the intake, my car had a funny idle. It didn't stabilize until the engine was warm. Is it a computer error? I noticed it was idling pretty lean.

Make sure you didn't loosen any of the intake hoses AFTER the mass airflow sensor (un metered air entering the system will cause it to run lean). Also make sure you didn't damage the sensor...

Good luck,

check your MAF and make sure the vacum hose going into the the intake is secure. a slight leak there will cause this problem
